Bountiful, Beautiful and Bohemian. A decadent feast for the eyes, bursting with magic and romance.

Bohemian Blooms is a bespoke floral design and event styling studio established by Jerin-Lei Malacrida, offering custom florals and styling for weddings and events, specialising in everything romantic, evocative and bohemian,. Based in Sydney, Jerin-Lei prides herself on working closely with each client guiding them through the design process to ensure that each event has its own unique style and suits every budget. Her warm, intuitive presence and natural love of all things beautiful will have any bride or event planner gushing as they discuss all things magic, romance and visual decadence.

Passionate, intuitive and driven, Jerin-lei strongly believes that ‘if I’m not completely absorbed in my couple by their wedding day, I’ve not done my job right.’

Inspired by the beauty in her surroundings and the love of each couple, every creation is unique but harks back to her simple philosophy of ‘Bountiful, beautiful and bohemian’. She creates whimsical, bohemian weddings and events for Sydney, the South Coast and NSW. Working with depth, unstructured volume and contrasting textures, each design incorporates an array of flowers, foliage and branches that has been carefully sourced from local growers and often her own backyard.

Jerin-Lei describes her process as, “From the day I receive their enquiry to the day the couple says ‘I do’, I’m continually getting to know them, their visions and what they are visually attracted to. Collecting treasures for months in the lead up, creating things I can’t find… I want it be the day they’ve dreamed of and take it to the next level. I always end up taking it up a few notches, more than even I anticipate!”

Jerin-lei worked for others in the styling & events industry until her gorgeous son, Rio, was born and now operates her own business, helping brides create the wedding of their dreams. Her fearless attitude towards creating ‘a decadent feast for the eyes’ can be attributed to her new role as Mother and can often be found at the local flower markets with toddler Rio in tow - the ultimate floral apprentice.
